There is no stopping Flintham having fun!
Our group camp for 1st Flintham Scout Group 'The Big Splash' has been thoroughly enjoyed by all. We had a full-on day on the Saturday doing various water activities - raft building, pond dipping, lava lamp making, creating diving jelly fish and building a water wall.
A full and healthy lunch gave us energy for our afternoon hike, which ended up at our local swimming pool to complete the swimmer staged activity badge.
Dinner was pasta Bolognese (meat and veggie variations on offer), and the evening was concluded with games and singing round the campfire.
After the Beavers were told that Sunday does NOT start at 5:30am, a full English breakfast was cooked up before tidying up and taking down tents.'
